University of Colorado Hospital’s Moves Final Patient to Anschutz Medical Campus on Saturday

Media Briefing Set for 12:30 p.m., June 14

WHAT:
Due to the success of years of planning and a carefully choreographed move operation, University of Colorado Hospital has accelerated its process and will move the final patients on Saturday, June 16, from its old location at East Ninth Avenue and Colorado Boulevard to the new Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora.

Media are invited to a news briefing Saturday to see the final patients leave the Ninth Avenue campus and talk with Bruce Schroffel, president and CEO of University of Colorado Hospital, and other staff about turning out the lights and saying goodbye to the old hospital.
