Fitzsimons Partners

The Fitzsimons Life Science District, currently one of the largest medical developments in the country, has many people to thank for its ongoing success. First and foremost, the Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority has been instrumental in the preservation, restoration and re-imagining of this historic site. In partnership with the FRA, Forest City Science + Technology Group is in the process of developing a 170-acre parcel within the District: the Colorado Science + Technology Park at Fitzsimons .

In addition, the Anschutz Family Foundation has donated more than $91 million to redevelopment efforts, making it possible for two of Denver’s most respected institutions, the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center (UCDHSC) and University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) , to relocate here. The top-ranked Children’s Hospital and Research Center is moving its operations to an advanced new facility this October, and the Veteran’s Administration Hospital is slated to open in 2015. Together, these devoted partners are creating a square mile of cutting-edge real estate dedicated exclusively to research and healing..
