Fertile ground for life science.

Colorado has become a veritable hotbed for bioscience. The state is currently home to about 430 bioscience companies, up from 380 just a couple of years ago. A leading academic medical center, university research, a highly-educated workforce, an active venture capital market, and increasing support from state government — all have contributed to this growth. (Of course, we think Colorado’s natural beauty and quality of life are important factors as well.) And within this burgeoning life science community, there’s a focal point: the Fitzsimons Life Science District. When combined with the adjacent Anschutz Medical Campus it creates a 578-acre site dedicated to bioscience, healthcare, medical education and advanced research, making it the largest development of its kind in the state and one of the largest in the country.
